My name is Maykel Gomez, and I am an experienced Agile Coach and Kanban Management Professional with a passion for transforming team dynamics and enhancing project delivery through lean principles. My journey began as a Scrum Master, where I gradually learned what it truly means to be “Agile”—a term often used loosely today, frequently missing tangible, practical results.
My true calling emerged when I was introduced to the Kanban method while working with a leading multinational oil and gas corporation. Since then, I have dedicated myself to implementing Kanban principles and practices to foster efficiency and adaptability in various teams.
With over a decade of experience, I have guided numerous organizations through Agile transformations, specializing in Kanban implementations that meet teams where they are and adapt to their unique contexts. My approach is distinctly pragmatic: I do not adhere to Agile frameworks for the sake of it. Instead, I observe, make calculated suggestions, and work collaboratively with team leaders and members to agree on the best path forward.

I emphasize the importance of having a crystal-clear picture of operational capacity, akin to managing an inventory system where understanding sales demand versus stock levels on shelves is crucial. Personal Interests:
Outside of my professional life, I am a dog lover and an avid coffee drinker. I cherish spending time with my wife, exploring a new coffee shop, and enjoying nature, especially the beach. I also love cooking and find it to be a creative outlet that complements my professional life.
